waving

What the heck?  Why are we not posting??  I should have something to say everyday considering what I hear on the school bus.  Hmm...  Let me think.  My middle schoolers wave to an elderly couple every day after school.  Their house is at the first stop and one of my students calls them Grandpa and Grandma.  I smile and laugh.... because I can imagine that waiting for the bus each afternoon, knowing that most of the kids on it will be waving to me, could potentially be one of the only bright spots on an older person's day.
